Spread Limit
Category: Betting Structures
Rules:
A spread limit game is a hybrid of a limit and a no limit game. Players may bet anywhere from a minimum to maximum bet.
For example, if the spread limit was $1-$4 for preflop/flop and $4-$8 on turn/river, then players may bet anywhere from $1 to $4 during the preflop/flop and anywhere from $4-$8 on the turn/river.
Spread limit games are rare at casinos (except for low stakes 7 card stud games) and almost unheard of in online games. However, they are very popular in home games.
