Online Poker Freerolls
Everybody likes to get things for free. Sometimes it seems like the universal way. "If it's free, it's for me." It's the motto of the world.
However, is there room to play poker free and still win money? Yes, a player can engage in a competitive poker game with a chance to win real money in freeroll tournaments. Poker freerolls are different from playing for fun. A player can play for fun at many online sites. Playing with "play money" is one way to get better at poker and it's certainly entertaining. Yet, a player may not get a feeling of real accomplishment and might feel that it has been a somewhat empty experience. A way to play, have fun and fill that void is to play for cold, hard cash.
Poker Freerolls
Poker freerolls are tournaments where a player can enter for free, and if they win, earn real money. Poker freerolls are usually multi-table events that require a player to beat out a big field to cash out. Difficult, yes, but it's completely possible. There are freerolls offered by numerous online poker rooms. Some poker freerolls award a player with a chance to enter another tournament that has a real cash pool, while others provide a cash pool right away. Some poker freerolls can lead to a seat in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker, a $10,000 value.
Where are Poker Freerolls?
Many online poker rooms offer freerolls. The online poker sites offer them as an enticement for new players. This is a popular marketing ploy to lure new players to a site. Sites also offer poker freerolls as a reward to existing players. These freerolls often require a certain amount of poker points that players accumulate through regular play at a site. Some sites offer poker freerolls to their regulars, just for being a member. Don't expect too much from daily or weekly freerolls. They often carry a weak prize pool, perhaps as little as $100. However, some freerolls out there can truly lead to big things.
